Pizza Party, Friday June 22nd at 6:30 PM. If you have been participating in our Women's Prayer Partner Ministry, we hope to see you!
The Women's Ministry Team meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM here at the church building. Any woman who attends Providence is welcome to attend these meetings. As a woman you are inherently a part of the women's ministry, therefore we welcome your input and suggestions. Please contact Denise Denning for more information.
Sight and Sound Theater
Nathaniel Schmuck is organizing a group to attend Sight and Sound Theater’s production of “Jesus” on September 22nd or 29th. Are you interested in going? If so, please add your name to the sign up sheet on the back table in the narthex. Discounts are offered to groups of 15 or more, and tickets must be purchased in advance to reserve seating. See Nate with questions.
A prayer group meets at Providence Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM in Room 1. All are welcomed and encouraged to come and pray for individual needs, and the needs of our church, our community, and our nation.
Ladies—Do you enjoy fellowship while working on a craft project? A group of women meet weekly on Tuesdays from 1-3 here at the church, and they welcome newcomers. Just bring that half-finished sweater or the scrapbook you’ve wanted to complete for years and join in the comradery.
Come and support the Belize Mission Team! They are offering a car wash on Saturday, June 2nd, here at the church. This is the same day that the pre-ordered subs will be available for pick-up. See Hannah Hassinger with questions.
PPC's first ever Spring Fling will be Sunday, June 3rd from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. It is a fun, free community event with bounce houses, fun with parachutes, games, food, and lots of other kid activities.
We are requesting donations of candy (bite size) to be used as prizes for the games at our Spring Fling. If you would like to make a donation, please bring the candy to the church by Friday, June 1st and leave it in the kitchen, clearly marked “Spring Fling.” See Darryl or Marlena with questions.
We are thrilled to announce that Noah Trask will be our new Director of Youth and Young Adults! Noah and his wife Sarah grew up in Hanover and are high school sweethearts. In fact, Noah attended our sister church, Hanover Valley Presbyterian, in his formative years. A recent graduate of Lancaster Bible College with a degree in worship arts and Bible, Noah served as the Associate Pastor of Youth & Worship at St. Peter’s Church (May 2015-April 2018) while attending school full time. Sarah is currently pursuing a degree in social work from Millersville University. They enjoy good coffee, books, traveling to Chincoteague, Virginia and “The Office.” We want to thank God for His provision for Providence, as well as the Interview & Recommendation team for their hard work and perseverance through this process.
