Youth Education

Our youth program is highly Scriptural with the goal of making disciples. It is our desire that the youth ministry of Providence Presbyterian Church be a "ministering community" of students who exalt the father, son and holy spirit.

This ministry to and through our youth involves Middle School students (grades 6-8) and High School students (grades 9-12). Our goal is to develop young disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ on a holistic level. We strive to provide our young people with a place where they feel safe to be themselves while learning to love one another, and to create an atmosphere that encourages spiritual, mental and social growth.

There are two Bible studies that meet at the church on Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm; one for young women, and another for young men. All students 6th - 12th grade are welcome to attend these studies. They are both currently going through book one of the Design for Discipleship series by the Navigators. Please contact Noah Trask for more info about the young men's group and Abby Hassinger or Sarah Trask for the young women's group.

C.R.E.W. (caring, relationship, evangelism, worship) YOUTH GROUP

C.R.E.W. gives students a place to relax, have fun and enjoy God's blessings of life. By participating in Bible studies, worship through music, prayer, games and other activities, our students are encouraged to grow in the Lord and to represent Christ to each other, their families, their community and the world around them.

C.R.E.W. Fellowship Group meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

We have already begun planning for the Belize missions trip for the summer of 2020. If you are interested in going on this trip, please let Noah know of your interest as soon as possible. Training and fundraising will likely begin before the start of the New Year, so your participation from the start will be essential. I will release more details as they become available.

Please see the announcements for additional activities you can participate in.
