Pastor Search

Providence Presbyterian Church is now seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our church. Candidates should be ordained (or be ordainable) in the Presbyterian Church in America, have 10 years of pastoral experience, and be able to fully support the vision and purpose of Providence, including our heart for church planting.

In addition to the information available elsewhere on our website, we offer the following documents to familiarize prospective candidates with Providence, the York County area, and our Senior Pastor position:

Our Pulpit Nominating Committee is currently reviewing applications. If after prayerful consideration you feel led to apply, please submit the following:

  • Ministerial Data Form (download the blank MDF form here)
  • Resume/curriculum vitae
  • 2 to 3 sermons (mp3 format preferred)

To submit your application electronically, please send an email to search@yorkpca.org.  Please know that this email address is confidential, password-protected and only accessible by members of our Pulpit Nominating Committee.  Please include "Application" in the subject line and attach all requested information. 

The sermon mp3 files may be sent in one of three ways:

  1. As an email attachment (if small enough in size)
  2. Via links to an online storage service
  3. Mail a CD to the address noted below.

If you cannot submit your materials electronically, the Committee will also accept a hard copy.  Application packages should be mailed to:

Please submit applications only once, either electronically or in paper form. You will receive a confirmation email once your materials have been received.

All applications and candidate information are strictly confidential.

The Committee will be contacting the candidates from whom they would like additional information within 60 days.
