These are important classes all of which will be offered at least once every two years.
- Knowing God 1 & 2 - A study of the major doctrines of Christianity, utilizing the Westminster Confession of Faith.
- Engaging the Culture - This course is designed to assist the Christian in thoughtfully engaging and discoursing with the culture by scrutinizing the ‘practice’ of key figures in Scripture as well as considering the direct teachings of Scripture.
- The Jesus I Thought I Knew - Understanding the unique person of Jesus is essential for our Christian faith. Students will learn why the Jesus of the Bible cannot simply be just a ‘good teacher’; but is, in fact, our God and Savior and one who is surprisingly different than we are often led to believe.
- Interpreting the Bible - The science of interpreting the Bible is called “hermeneutics’. Students will learn not only how to read and study the Bible but also what to do with some of the more difficult parts of Scripture.
- Christianity and World Religions - This course will survey the major world religions and how they compare with Christianity. Students will gain a working knowledge of these varied belief systems and how Christianity stands out as unique.
