Providence Presbyterian Church offers ministry to children and youth from nursery through high school. On Sunday mornings from 9:50 to 10:50, Providence provides age-specific Sunday School classes for children from age two through fifth grade. There is a safe and well-managed nursery for toddlers and infants during this time as well.

Children in this age group - age 3 through grade five - are taught by dedicated and trained adults who teach Bible-based lessons with age-appropriate, child-centered application. Children are taught using creative teaching methods that target different learning styles.

Small group time is an essential element of the Sunday School experience, so most often only two grade levels make up a class; and never more than three grade levels are joined together. Children learn how to apply the day's lesson to their life and share their thoughts. They are led to learn to know and share the love of Jesus, so that a sense of community is built within each small group, and they learn together what it means to care for others
