Small Groups are an ideal place for newcomers and those seeking to better understand the Christian faith to connect. They are the way we do ministry here at Providence and are open to anyone regardless of their faith commitment or membership status in the church. The atmosphere of a Small Group is warm and non-threatening because most groups meet in the relaxed setting of someone’s home. Our Small Groups are an important part of ministry here at Providence Church because they provide an environment where Christ ministers to and through us, relationships are nurtured and people care and look to the concerns of others. These groups provide opportunities for the use and development of spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ and encourage us to live God pleasing lives.

There are currently eight groups meeting either at the church or in various locations in York County. Meeting dates, times and locations are listed each week in the bulletin. More information on a group may be obtained by calling the church office (717) 767-4772.

• American Classics - This group is our ‘Seniors’ who meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 2:00 PM at the church.
• Book of Jobs - Meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 7:00 PM in the West York area.
• Christ in the City - Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 8:15 PM in York city.
• Contending for the Truth - Meets every other Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Foustown area.
• Crossroads - Meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 7:00 PM in the West Manchester area.
• Delta - Meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 6:30 PM at the church.
• East York - Meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in East York area.
• Grandview at Shiloh - Meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 7:00 PM in the Shiloh area.
