Some of the non-emergency needs we see involve theological questions,
personal problems, or the need for prayer. If you live in the York area
and have this sort of challenge, we encourage you to consider one of
the following options:
- Speak to a pastor or worship leader when you attend our
Sunday service. You can also complete a simple card found in the pews
or on the information table. In some way, let a pastor know that you
have something to discuss.
- Attend a small group for prayer and where theological
questions can be worked out in community. If you are a member of a
group already, contact your small group leader. If you're not a member
of a fellowship group, consider joining one. Again, information on our
fellowship groups is available on this Web site, at the church
information table, and through the church office. Pastor Aaron Anderson
(717-767-4772) oversees our small group ministry, and he is able to
help you find a group that fits you.
- Attend one of our Adult
Education classes during our Sunday School hour. Classes and topics
change each quarter, so review the topics, join a class, and feel free
to openly discuss the challenges you're facing in light of the class
topic. In most cases, your issues will be shared by others in the group.
- If
you'd like to speak to a counselor about a personal problem, call the
church office (717-767-4772) and ask to speak to a pastor.
If you're visiting our Web site and do not live near enough to attend
Providence, contact the Administrative Committee of Presbyterian Church
