This mission ministry team exists to educate and inform the congregation and encourage a vision for God’s purpose to glorify His name through world, national and local missions. It further exists to support missionaries financially and through prayer, encouragement and other practical help. The Missions Committee oversees and distributes the missions’ dollars in such a way that the priority is given to career missionaries who are laboring to build indigenous works in church planting among unreached people groups.

This team is responsible for the screening of requests and the distribution of all budgeted missions monies.

The Missions Committee is responsible for recommending the following to the Session:

• New Missionaries and missions to be supported.
• Annual support budget proposals for all missionaries.
• Church-wide missions events – dinners, conferences, etc.
