As part of our adult education program, we have created a ‘core curriculum’. We believe these classes are essential in developing mature Christians. There are 10 classes that PPC considers ‘core’ classes. These classes are divided into three different tracks. Track one includes those classes that are foundational and will equip students to get the most out of other courses. Track one classes will be offered at least once a year. Track two classes are important classes that will be offered at least once every two years. Track three classes are those classes that fill out our core curriculum which we will work in as space and qualified teachers allow. In addition to our ‘core curriculum’, each quarter will offer students an elective on a variety of topics such as: life skills (parenting, marriage, etc), hot issues in ethics, religion or engaging our culture.
The following guide is provided to assist you in deciding which class to take and also functions as a tool to assist you in choosing the next logical class. You may use it as a guide to keep track of the courses you have completed. It is highly recommended that you give priority to track one classes, particularly Reasons to Believe and Life as a Christian. If possible, these should be the first classes you take.
