Children's Church (Age 3 - Kindergarten) |
|
Our Children's Church is for children ages three through kindergarten, who are dismissed from the worship service at the half-way mark. Children's Church is offered during both our Sunday morning worship services.
An approved adult will meet children to guide them to a safe and clean classroom where children learn about God through age-appropriate stories, songs, crafts, prayers, and games. The children are cared for and taught by trained staff.
Play is part of the classroom experience and provides opportunity for socialization and time for staff to build relationships with the children. Our lessons and class time are designed to teach children simple Biblical concepts emphasizing that Jesus loves them, how they can share this good news with friends, and talking to God (prayer).
The children of Children's Church love to tell their parents what they have learned God is very real to them. Parents are encouraged to participate in Children's Church as observers--or are free to stay in the adult service--while their children participate in their own specific time of Sunday worship.
If you would like to serve as a teacher/leader or assistant in Children's Church, or would like to know more about this exciting ministry, please contact Robin Eckstrom for the 8:30 a.m. service, or Michelle Finch for the 11:00 a.m. service, through the church office at 717-767-4772.
