Attention Moms! Are you looking for a fun activity for you and your kids this summer? Every Friday from 9:30-11 AM throughout the summer, a group of us will gather for an informal Bible study and play group here at Providence. Speaking of summer, plans are already underway for our annual Providence Kidz Kamp which will take place the week of July 29th—August 2nd. Many hands are needed to run this fun-filled week, so if you are available to serve as a leader or helper, please add your name to the sign-up sheet in the narthex. Ladies you are invited to special evening to hear how God is working through two women’s ministries. One is New Life for Girls, located here in York County. The other is located in India. Barbara A. and her husband Chuck are missionaries supported by PPC, and Barbara has a microeconomics business in India. Through this ministry, women have the opportunity to hear of the love of Jesus as they learn to sew various totes and other products. These beautiful products are sold and the women are able to help support themselves and their families. Barbara will be here on June 22nd to tell us about the products that the women make. You will have the opportunity to hear her presentation and purchase the stylish bags. It is Barbara’s desire that some of the profit also be used to support a local women’s Christian ministry in York, so we have invited women from New Life for Girls to come and give testimony and sing songs. We will hear how God is using this ministry to change the hearts of women. Some of the profit from the sales of the totes will benefit this ministry at New Life.
